I say this a lot ... "They just don't make them like they used to."  Nowhere is this fact more apparent than in the art of engraving.  While I'm sure there are still fine engravers out there, it is rare to see this level of detail and flourish these days.

The pieces shown here feature lovely, deep, swirling engraving, marking love, achievement, or even someone's address.  Maybe the words mean something to you, maybe not.  But I think we can all appreciate the beauty and the sentiment inherent in this lost art.
